Verba Support

How can
Tim help?

Setup instructions, troubleshooting, and a direct way to ask questions or report a problem.

Get up and running

Verba, step by step.

01

Record and refine

Allow Microphone and Speech Recognition, tap Record, speak, and tap Stop. Keep your wording or ask Tim to clean it up, make it professional, create an email or message, organize notes, summarize, or translate.

02

Install the keyboard

Go to iOS Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard → Verba. With Full Access off, Verba remains a QWERTY keyboard. Full Access enables its private App Group connection to the main app.

03

Dictate from another app

Choose a mode and tap the microphone in the Verba keyboard. Open Verba manually, record and stop there, then return to the original app and insert the completed result.

04

Use Notes and Conversations

Create searchable notes or choose Conversation Mode for a timestamped, color-coded multi-speaker transcript. Tap a speaker name to rename it.

05

Search by text or date

Search Notes and History with words, today, yesterday, a month or year, or filters such as from:2026-08-01, after:2026-08-01, and before:2026-09-01.

06

Install the writing model

Open Settings → Local Writing Model to download the optional Qwen3 model. Wi-Fi and at least 3.3 GB of free space are recommended. After installation, its writing transformations run locally.

07

Fix microphone problems

Confirm Microphone and Speech Recognition access for Verba. Also verify Enable Dictation under iOS Settings → General → Keyboard and check Screen Time restrictions if recognition is disabled.

08

Send useful diagnostics

Open Settings → About Verba → Help & Feedback. You decide whether to include device details and a recent activity log. Recordings, transcripts, notes, and finished text are never attached automatically.

09

Manage or delete data

Control history retention in Settings, delete individual notes or history entries, remove the optional model, or delete Verba to remove its locally stored app data.

Contact support

Questions and problem reports are welcome.

Email the Verba support team directly. Include the app version, device model, what you expected, and what happened. Screenshots help, but never send sensitive content you do not want reviewed.
